Agree with LuckyEight - you will have to take the engine out of the frame. And by the way - it's not difficult - even I managed to do it.

Does anyboby have 2 of these holders for the original exhaust (XS400 from 1977) ? I took mine off in the beginning of my project, painted them, and put them away for later use... but now they are gone ? So I have to find new ones - but cant find them in any internet shops. I then thought...

Any good ideas on how til lower the speedometer ? It has to be lowered about 4", but just bending a metalplate - I think - will make it to loose and it will shake when driving ? I know the correct solution would be to get at small speedometer and drop the key and the tachtometer..... but I've...

Any idea on how to make the brake cylinder reservoir look new ? (yes, I could buy a new one, but that's to easy :) ) Washing it in a dishwasher ? Polish with something ?

.....talking about the wreck..... It's still not settled, which one was the worst wreck.... By the way I wore a full helmet from Schuberth. Hit it hard enough, and Your face gets hurt :)

And by the way - this is my replacement for the XJ600, that I totally wrecked. Yes - it is close til blasphemy not only to ride Yamaha. Even my guitar is a Yamaha.... But it's a nice ride, and I got it cheap.
