Building a SOHC motor, lighter crank, gsxr1100 pistons (500cc final displacement), and megacycle cam, some headwork. Im thinking 36mm carbs, still need bike to be streetable. Any opinions?

Just got a price qoute for $285. Anyone heard of any dealers selling em cheaper? This is a welded up cam, no billets available so you have to send em in your core. EDIT: Wondering if anyone else would be interested in one of these? Maybe we could set up a group buy?
