i took my carbs of my '81 xs400 special, and i am in the process of getting them cleaned....i want to replace the hideous factory airboxes with the cone filters...problem is they sell these filters in so many sizes....can anyone tell me how many millimeters my intake ports are on these stock...

hey everyone, i am a total noob to the XS400 and to motorcycles. just bought an '81 and doing all my preliminary work on it...i know cars pretty well and some engine theory. just have a few questions...what is the optimal oil to use? what weight? regular/synthetic? also where is my choke? and...
