    first bike its got some problems...

    I suggest starting with the basics . I want to assume the carbs haven't been cleaned in a while. it sounds to me like the idle jet is clogged a bit ... how does it sound when you rev it past idle rpm? Or maybe a long shot on the carb boots... they could be cracked and disrupt the mixture...

    How do you remove a muffer from the exhaust

    I'm probabley too late here but what the heck... maybe some one can dig this up later... i noticed in the picture the mufflers are "tacked" to the header pipe with some welds ... if you have a wheel grinder you grind down the tack points and then heat the muffler with a torch so it expands ...

    @drewpy .. thnx advice noted.. i will run it harder the next times out , but im a total noob at this so please fill me in .. what is a WOT session? .. @chkm8 ... had the filters off when i snapped that pic .. i do have a set of conical filters on it though. It is infact a mono shock...
