    Tank swap (non XS tanks)

Yes, it is difficult. And it would cost more than buying a tank.

    Tank swap (non XS tanks)

Thank you, but I need the most simple solution there is. The reason I'm looking for a second tank is that in May I want to go to another country and my documents say that my motorcycle color is red. The only red part on it is the tail light. So I'm looking for any tank that I would paint red and...

    Tank swap (non XS tanks)

I'm trying to find a second tank for my bike and I'm pretty sure I won't find an xs400 tank in Ukraine, neither drop style nor the boxy one (which won't fit anyway). Does anyone know if there's any other model I could try? Preferably it has to be a direct fit or at least with very minor mods...

    cocktail shaker mufflers

Whoa, thanks! Glad to hear that. Would be cool if you documented this acoustic mat installation and even cooler if you did a before and after video/sound. I'm still wanting to quite them a bit more.

    cocktail shaker mufflers

I have the same mufflers and I have to upset you, there's almost no space for packing there. You can only wrap the baffles with a very thin layer otherwise they won't fit back inside. Had to have my baffles re-welded to allow more packing.

    Need advice on rear shocks

The chain only rubs the swingarm just a bit only when I'm off the bike, but totally fine when I'm on it, never heard it touch. Not sure about 400mm though.

    Need advice on rear shocks

Thanks guys, I forgot I could really call Hagon and ask, I'll do that today. The ones I have are from this website, I usually try to order from the UK, the shipping is faster then from the US. The shocks might be the same. I was starting this topic hoping someone found another solution, not just...

    Need advice on rear shocks

Right now I have pair of Taiwanese 365mm shocks which are extremely stiff even under my 100kg (220lbs) weight. My back is starting to hurt. Can anyone advise a pair of similar 360-365mm decent shocks? I was trying to find something on Hagon, but they do not have a search by size feature...

Hi Pork Chop! Thanks! The shocks are 365mm, and the stock ones were 320mm.

    Clementine: Brat/Tracker build

I had a 16 wheel before but then found this one which I believe comes from a 79 or earlier model. It fits right in without any spacers. The battery is a 3ah BOSCH, and the bike is kick only now. Didn't have much to test it yet, one of the coils died, so I'm now waiting for a new pair to arrive.

The seat was custom made by a local guy and I really like it too, it's neither too thin nor too bulky and is very comfortable. I don't remember the drill bits sizes but I will measure them.
