Hey guys......a brake question!!!!.... I have a drum brake rear wheel from an SR250 fitted to my chop. Rather than have a long brake stay tie bar for the drum,I have rotated it slightly so I can run a 1/2" bolt through the frame gusset and into the retaining hole on the brake plate,therfore...

Cheers xschris....was thinking originally of just baffling the straight through pipes,but i quite like the idea of a silencer now.The smaller,older looking one is a BURGESS DEEPNOTE,I got from an old Ariel,so should produce a nice sound...:wink2:

Hey Norman..... If by the "rubber inserts" you mean the cush drive rubbers,you don't need to press them out....get the wheel off the bike,remove the brake plate and you can just take out the rubbers,they just sit in compartments in the rear hub.:) I don't see why you could'nt powder coat the...
