Fixed my leaky petcock YAY!!!! Bike back running and idling better than ever (guessing it must of been restricting flow). On a side note, does anyone know where I can find a replacement master cylinder rubber/boot/diaphragm? Mines missing a chunk and brake fluid seems to be seeping out around...

Please be very careful if you do this. Many a person has overtightened/threaded there spark plugs causing many more tears.

Guy at the exhaust shop had to to do this with my bike yesterday, spray some aerostart to get it running. (needs full choke, no accelerator when cold :P)

The current state government in QLD is nuts, everybody around Aus is WTFing at some of the stuff they are trying to bring in. Wearing patches is the easiest way to identify OMC, and banning it is a stupid thing as it increases anonymity.

So got the bike back, and it's much quieter. Has definitely affected the mid range performance it seems a bit sluggish between 4-6k rpm now, but it's liveable. Of course, just when I thought the bike was all good, I get to the servo, and my petcock is dripping fuel everywhere :banghead...

Yeah its tough finding what parts fit and what doesnt tbh especially in Australia. my clutch lever is a bit "wobbly" but I haven't replaced it yet purely cause I can't be sure the one I have will fit the setup I have. I made the mistake of trying a new lever which didnt fit my assembly, and...

Go the bike going in to have some baffles installed to in the exhaust to have it quietened down. it has twin full exhaust but literally sounds like its on headers, so I need to silence it a bit. Will report back tomorrow when I get it back and let you know how it went :)

So jealous of where the coils are in that pic. On my 82 XS250, they are up in the frame and a bastard to get out/back in.

I know it's usually obvious, but they are one way so take note you install it the right way round :P
