I put the tank back on and pushed her into the driveway to see the sun. I also ordered the new tires and uni pod filters.

Applied the graphic and some more clear coats.

Painted/clear coated the tank today. Turned out pretty good for my first attempt.

I have the tank hanging in the "garage booth". Ready for 4 coats of epoxy primer. 1st coat

It is all metal but I wouldn't say it's heavy. Under a lbs. I have all the stock parts I have removed in a big tote. The thing weighs close to 40lbs. I can't wait till it's time to ride the bike it will be a completely different experience.

I will have lots of pictures when it starts going back together. I also have the bullet turn signals as well. It should come out nice.

It is a pin switch that attaches directly to the lever. Pulling the lever pushes in the pin. There is no MC. Similar to the one in my old muscle car pushing the brake pedal pushes a pin turning on the light. I just don't think newer lever accommodate this switch. Unless someone makes a new retro...
