    New Indicator with cafe look

Hey guys, I got sick of my indicator mount and decided to find a new one seeing I got rid of my tac and speedo. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that the CB550 bar mount/indicator panel works great. If you’re going to a stripped down cafe look this is nice (minus the Honda label). I...

    '79 XS400 Cafe Build

So, I bought a pair of XS400's for a pretty solid price. Here's the catch - they're in boxes. So I'm going to make a cafe racer, and figure out the other bike later (possibly just part out) The '79 frame is slightly modified. Most tabs were cut off, etc. The guy had planned to make it into...

Has anyone fit a different tank to the 400 frame?

Hey guys, So before I start doing anything to my new 400 I wanted to investigate any option that would keep my from hammering knee dents in the original tank, since it's in such good condition. I know that the XS models vary greatly between each other and between each year, making swapping...

How much cash do you think i need for a cafe bike?

I REALLY REALLY want to build a cafe racer out of our xs400. But there are problems. I dont know how much it will cost and I have a sceptical father. lol. has anyone on here done it? possibly have a rough estimate? The bike is pretty much a time capsul so I wont be needing to fix anything.
