I was reading through the manual and the spark plug required is NGK DR8ES-L. The info on the side cover placard of my bike indicates a NGK D8EA. D8EA is currently in my bike right now. Are these two spark plugs simply interchangeable?
My left spark plug is becoming cross threaded and I want to fix it before a spark plug shoots across the highway. Is it possible to rethread the hole without disassembling the engine? If not, can I take the cylinder head off the bike without taking the engine out of the frame?
