08 Yamaha V Star 250

So since my XS400 search is turning out nothing I've taken some advice I'm going to go put 1500 down on a new 250. I like the Yamaha brand more than anything but I want to know what you guys think should I go for the Honda Rebel or the Yamaha V Star. Does anyone on here have those or could tell me thier experience with one? I really want the Virago 250 but I can't find any at any local dealers around here. So if anyone has any info on these that'd be cool. I've done some review searching but both are coming back with the same things.

Those bikes are slow (65-75mph) and are gutless unless you are a 100lbs and 5'1 . Look around for a xs650 you can get a good one for the $1500 you will put down on the of those. just my
