My son has bought a nice looking bike, but it doesn't start, so I need to give him a hand.
The engine does not have a spark, and I think it is smart to rebuild to electronic ignition anyway.

or am I wrong ??

Where could I get a complete set for this, that is OK to install ?

I think its best for you to just keep the points ignition if thats what you have. Points are more reliable IMO and simple. Theres three aftermarket systems that I know of and theyve all failed on me.

Its always good to learn how to set and adjust points. Points are a lot cheaper and it is possible to make a rideside repair if you have to. Electronics just fail completely and then you have to deal with tiny circuit boards and components that cant really be replaced unless you know your electronics.
