1980 xs 400 bobber

Hello all, have an 80 xs400 bobber ive built. Having trouble with it staying running after 10 15 miles of riding almost as if its ran out of gas, also will die sometimes when i kick it into gear from neutral. Any help would be amazing. Thanks!!

Those type pods and straight pipe will cause all sort of issues. I would use black foam uni filters on the stock H-pipe if you must have pods ( the stock intake and air boxes work best). Then put some sort of baffeled mufflers on it. Dirty carbs, poorly tuned motor or carbs including synced could be your issue also.
