I am in the process of an electric conversion, so all parts that are engine related are available, along with the gauges. Carbs seem clean, but I'm unsure of the condition of the engine, probably just good for parts. There're a few too many parts to take a picture of everything just for this post, but if you send me a message I'll do my best to find the part and send a picture.

I'm curious why you picked an XS for the donor.

Was that just what was handy, or a specific choice?

Also, super interested in how this turns out. I'm actually mulling something similar, but want to build on a different frame.

It was just handy, and only $200. Also I've been wanting a cafe racer for a while, and an XS400 seems perfect. The steel tube frame makes it pretty easy to weld on motor and battery mounts too
