Have no time and need space.
1981 XS 400 ( runs) clear title Galloway Ohio $300.00
all original take off parts and hardware ( signals, tank, seat ect)
come with the bike.
frame has been bobbed to the rear of the shock mounts
.
2 sets of handle bars factory, and a new set of Harley (700) bobber bars
new tires , front may need a new tube.
new bullet turn signals
What's original ? engine, transmission, frame ( bobbed) brakes
What's been changed ? led headlight in a 70's dirt bike nacelle.
most of the controls are off the handle bars. electric start is not hooked up.
Does it run? Yes, the carbs are off right now as they have just been
cleaned. It had been regularly started and ran on the second kick. I have not started it
since last summer when I took the carbs off to clean and replace a broken throttle cable.
What does it need? fab mount for a seat. I have a really cool 70's dirt bike seat ill throw in
to make a brat bike or café type seat. Throttle cable need replaced. Original tank remounted.
turn signals are not wired. general tune up once together.
First 300.00 buys the bike and all the parts except the chopper tank and spring seat.
They have gone back to the donor bike they came from.
local pick up, or may meet up. no shipping
