So I just got a pretty good deal, traded a camera for a project bike. Problem is the owner didn't know what all specifically was needed to get the bike going.

The previous owner seemed confident in saying replacing the generator on the bike would get it running. The bike was a barn find and from looking at it seems like it's in pretty rough shape. I know genuinely nothing about bikes but I want to get into them and figured a project bike for a camera deal was a good opportunity
Hopefully someone here can help me diagnose at least a few things wrong with the bike from visuals

Whats the vin start with? Motor and frame. 2V6 is a 79 2-f. Looks like a 79 2-f with some other years rear wheel/parts and a e-start added to it. Looks to be in very poor shape and will need lots of work/parts. Good luck with your project it will take a lot of thought and hard work.
