'79 Starter Solenoid - After market options?

    Anyone know if there's an after market solendoid that will do the trick that's a little easier to come by? Is a 3 week wait here in Canada to get the OEM part, and is $134.

    Sure, do you guys have any chain automotive parts stores like we do here in the states? (Auto zone, advanced auto parts, Napa, etc). They all carry those small generic starting solenoids that work the same way as the OEM one, and are pretty inexpensive

    Or a good place would be a tractor supply store also. They should have some solenoids for the smaller lawn tractors. I recently purchased one at a Lowe's here in states.
