Air filter boxes for all 400 bikes? Cracked breather hose?

I bought some second hand air filter boxes off ebay for $25 or so. They seem a little large for the space on the side of the frame, are they on all XS400 models? Partzilla showed them so I figured the closer to stock the better... The mounting bracket band is like $25 more on ebay and I think a bungee type device will suffice for short term.

Second, I was trying to remove intake manifold and managed to twist crankcase breather hose enough for it to develop a crack by where it sits on crank case... I temporarily hose clamped this area but assuming I should go ahead and replace?

If your battery box is attached the stock way and your using stock intake pipe and clamps the air box will fit and clamp to the battery box. 76-77 xs360 and 77-82 sohc xs400 used the same air filter boxes.

Thx Chris - that's the setup i have. Stock stock stock, just missing clamps.

For crank case breather hose with 1.5 cm long crack... presume best to just replace? In my head, less worried about crank air escaping then dirty air particles going in...
