hey guys.
I have recently acquired a ‘beautiful’ 78 xs400 square tank. I have taken the carbs apart for a thorough cleaning and found a couple surprises.
1. Fuel mixture screw needle broken off. I will try Drewpys nail trick first. Any other tips or tricks? And a decent replacement? I’m worried all the ones on eBay are for the post 80s carbs.
2. The emulsion tube shot out during the compressed air phase and so did the small pin that lines it up .
Can you buy replacement pins?
Any aftermarket carbs that work well??
I am located in Nsw, Australia if anyone has a spare set of carbs???
