Well, it's time to DIY...
ebay is full of headlamp clamps and brackets...but they are quite pricey and I don't like them...So I bought some stainless steel tubes...We'll see if it will work and look better

Hi your bike looks great! I'm using USD forks too but am trying out some yokes from a crosser. They are abit wider, any ideas on how you'll fit a Speedo? I don't want to use a LCD magnetic type I would rather it look a little old school.

I should have said on my previous post too that I am hoping to use a sr500 19" wheel running only one disk, does the xs400 18" wheel fit the rs forks with the speedo drive in place? many thanks LuckyEight, loving the build

Noup, speedo drive won't fit. At leas the stock one.

Hey LuckyEight, as I said I'll just post a few photos to show you what the fit.

Using the xs400 wheel (not the SR500 Wheel) I've been able to fit the speedo drive and the original xs400 spacer between the forks using the the wider yokes. The only problem now though is the spindle needs collars as we were discussing. I'll add more info to my thread when I get the chance, but thanks again for you help.

tu parles un peu français quand même , ta moto va être belle, thanks for the wheel size.

It needs a final touch...I still don't know where will be ingnition key so the mount is still there...Maybe to use it as a yamaha logo holder...don't know. Mounts on bottom will be used as a mount for speedo
