Café from the heart of Europe (intro & build)

So you decided to go down the same road with the yoke. As far as the ignition switch goes.. stay tuned, I've something for you on the weekend :)

Well, it was on my TO DO list from the beginning...but you are much more faster and my list is much more longer then yours because your bike is almost done. Anyway I hope you don't mind:)

Btw: I saw on your pics that your ignition key is mounted on the right engine mount plate. Good idea... No I have to choose different solution:D

Oh and just one Q: I saw your stearing stopper (damper). I have also tryed to use just some piece of metal plate...but it seems to be too narrow. My clipons are hitting the tank. So my damper should be much more wider (Idk, about 12mm). Does it work fine on your bike with your setup?

Haha, I didn't even notice I had it on pictures yet.. no fun. Perfect place for it, tho
My stearing stopper is 10 mm and the clips are slightly hitting the tank atm. but I'm going to figure something out. Maybe moving the bars a little lower will work.

I had problems getting clip-ons to fit on my '78 with a square tank; they hit the tank on full lock. There are some other designs out there; it was the tightening bolt location that was causing the problem for me.

So my rear wheel was out of line (for about 3,5mm to the sprocket side)despite my rear axle setup is stock and I don't miss any part...and the sprocket too of course...(sprockets don't seem to be suspiciously worn). My seat hoop has a straight end so it was quite easily noticable:doh: And I hate assymetry...so new rear wheel spacers have to be made... Some pics captured during my little progress...

Great machine to work with (especially with the tubes)
