Hey I have a 12E 1985 model with a 12F engine in it (27hp model) and i want to make it a 12E again, I have read that it have different camshafts, but when i look in the manual it only give one measurements for camshafts. My camshafts are marked with an F in addition to the I and E, are there 2 different camshafts or not? Everywhere else in the manual where there is a difference its marked with a (G) for the 12F model

You can find the manual here, and the camshaft measurements are on page 4

And yes i know i need another T.C.I, main jets and intake manifold :)

Yes, there are two different cams. I can measure it for you when I get to my garage. If you have "F" cams you need to get another without "F". I and E is just Intake and Exhaust

So... "F" intake cam height is 34,3mm, exhaust 34,2mm. There is aprox 2mm difference.
