chrome and zinc stuff

Picking up me chrome and zinc plating tomorrow for the tracker project.

hope it turns out ok, I got chromed carb tops, exhaust collar, top nut and kick lever. and zinced rear brake pivot and assorted stuff.

can't wait

wow. my raw, original yellowing carbs are way nicer than that new fangled "chrome" as you call it. i dont like change. im scared of the niceness. sorry, must be the fumes from my clearcoat saying this. i like that even the mounting bracket for the carbs is chromed. nice touch.

might I suggest wearing a mask next time you spray!!? LOL

it was a duplicolor spray can in my garage. i wanted to keep it climate controlled and only cracked the back door, but still got some fuzzies

clean 'em with a toothbrush and some orange solvent (used in the food industry) spary with ACF50 after for a semi gloss finish
