ya so im doing this buil... got it all back together.... got gas.. and trying to fire it up... wont kick over it has spark on both sides .. i checked compression and its only at 30psi.... before the build it was 150!!!
Are you holding the throttle open ALL the way during the test? The butterflies have to be open to suck air for the test. Is your battery fully charged?
yep..... i adjusted the valves as best i could.... super hard with the damn xs400... i bent the feelers and everything... still hard.. so now left side is 120psi and right side is 90 psi....
Put a little oil in each cylinder...a little, and try it again. If it doesn't change much, you have a valve issue- either burnt, eroded seat or hopefully, just need to adjust the valves again. If the compression goes up appreciably...sorry, rings.
