what's a 50 chain?
Wikipedia says it's an American National Standards Institute standard chain size. 5 for 5/8 pitch, 0 for standard.

The 530 chain I bought was a WPS plain non-oring and called Heavy Duty no less. The connecting link was a pressed link for endless. I went to farmstore/hardware store and found a connecting link I didn't have to Press, matched it up with the one that came with the chain and it works as if it came with the chain, perfect! It was labeled 50H.
