hi
It’s a 82 SE, 4G5. Got the engine in using the front and rear mounts and all looked Ok. When I come to put the head steady on, looks like it about 8mm to the right from the gap on the RH steady bracket. LH side looks about ok. I only have one of the original bushes but have made up a similar one for other side.
Any advice, looks like engine should move over to LHS, but bottom front brackets look OK.

Your top rubber bushings look to be wrong. Also the lower left one. These later 81-82 sohc u.s. models with rubber rear mounts need to have correct bushings or the motor will be off and could flex in the frame under load. Make sure the bolts are the correct size as the stock bolts and torqued to spec.

Hi Chris
I can get the top bushes from Sumo, but can’t find the bottom ones.
Do you have the dimensions of the left and right bushes?
Many thanks

Inside is 15mm outside is 30mm and 10mm thick. Findings stock ones would be best as you need to have same type rubber and lock tabs . Try searching the part numbers or stop at local bone yards. These are also hard to get here in the states.
