I would worry about my feet sliding off those pegs. Maybe paint them with some anti skid paint.

Hey Menzi,
I already saw your build on chopperforum.de and xs400-forum.de
There is a coating powder available that is rough like skateboard griptape. Should prevent your feet from sliding on the pegs

and the same in german:
Moin Menzi,
habe Deinen Aufbau schon auf zwei anderen Foren gesehen.
Es gibt Pulver zum Beschichten das eine Oberfläche wie Skateboard-Griptape hinterlässt. Sehr rau und griffig. Damit solltest Du keine Probleme haben den richtigen Halt zu finden.
