Getting into trouble?

So I’m the last stages of my xs400 build, went through a whole redesign. Paint is coming out pretty well on the 400, and once I get the frame back from powder coat, I’ll have to post pictures of everything together.

but in the meantime, I’m also thinking of picking up an 82 virago to build into a bobber, hoping I’m not overwhelming myself with projects I can’t finish, lol. I can see myself getting into trouble with so much going on. Is there a forum specific to viragos like this one is to the xs400? I couldn’t really find one and I might need one.

    Here you go................ https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwil8PGBr4HqAhURHjQIHbz1BucQFjAAegQIBBAB&url=http://viragotechforum.com/&usg=AOvVaw1TeGLiAtTq5UVBpHvdgwG_

am a member there as I started a build a few years ago................has been sitting on the stand for some time now and well not sure when if it ever will get done.........lost interest......

If you ask me I think the V stars are better suited for the bobber look. Seems everyone took the 81 to 83 and went cafe look with them........I started that way but am looking at a scrambler look now as the cafe is not comfortable anymore........

Yeah I get what you mean. The one I was gonna look at, the guy never got back to me so I guess I’m just gonna hold out for a v star. I was looking at those also.

I think the V star is a better look and less to do..........once you pull the seat off the virago there is probably 8 relays under it that need to be dealt with........its a wiring nightmare.........the viragos are much cheaper but.............
