Today I went out to my 1982 Seca 400 and tried to turn it on and nothing. I turn the key and none of the panel lights will come on except for the high beam light. Yesterday it started up no problem. The headlight is the only thing that seems to work. I'm pretty sure that the bike is in neutral. I can't figure out what is going on. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

Is the kill switch still on?
Measure voltage at the battery terminals, should be 12-14V.
If so, take the headlight out of the bucket and find the red, blue, and brown wires from the ignition switch. Disconnect the switch connector and measure the voltage coming into the ignition switch.
If you have good voltage there, check for voltage at the ignition coils (found under the gas tank).

If you have voltage everywhere described, take out the spark plug and visually check for spark. If you can find where you stop getting voltage you can narrow down where your short/open circuit is.
