I have never had a clutch slip when cold. Might be an adjustment or part issue. I match coils on the ohms they have, primary and secondary. I have many sets from all the bikes and parts I have picked up. I test them all and mark the test results on them. Match them in sets and put them on bikes. I still use old stock coils for all of them.
