Hey Everybody!
I was just wondering if it's possible to run a 1981 XS400 without the battery and all other associated components (ignition coil, etc). If my understanding is correct, theoretically, it should be possible to run the blinkers, headlight, and taillight without the battery because the power comes from the stator.
But for some reason my bike will not start without the battery or unless the battery is charged. Has anyone done this before? Is it possible? If so, how do I go about doing so?
