Karl's scrambler-bratstyle 81 XS400 SE

I'll make my own mufflers, but thanks for sharing xschris. I do have the cross over pipe and I didn't know that.
Got to shape some seat foam.

Where did you find your seat foam? im wanting to make my own seat!

The guy who made the cover works in the seat making business, so he brought some he had in his shop here in Estonia. It's made out of rebond foam, with a layer of softer material on top (not seen on the pictures). You can probably buy it from Ebay if you are not planning to visit Estonia anytime soon :D

Hey! Sorry for the wait.
Yeah Posh sells them, but mine are from Welded (http://www.welded.fr/produit/commodo-mini-switch/). They are exactly the same Blitz Motorcycles use on their bikes, but without the logo and cheaper. I actually got these as a gift from my father on my birthday.
And a little update. Started taking the bike apart.

Cut the tabs off and took the frame with some other bits and pieces to the powdercoating studio and sent the engine off to blasting as well.

And there was another cafe project frame that got painted matte black at the same time, but I think my glossy one looks a lot better. You can see some in the corner.

How's the surface finish on the cover plates after bead blasting?
I'll probably be bead blasting my swingarm soon. Considering it for the motor.
Looks nice and clean but I'm hoping to polish my covers up. Too much texture might make for more work polishing.
