Left Cylinder Intermittent Firing Issue

If your mix screws don't seem to do anything the tips of them might be broken off into the carbs. Pull them out and check down in the holes. Also look at the tips. If they aren't straight and with a very sharp tip they are bad. Post pics.

So I checked the clearances on all the valves, the left exhaust was off. Of course I adjusted all of them but the bike sounds sooooo much better now! A heck of a lot less backfiring and the plug aren’t blackened (I guess the mixture did help but I still need to go through them). I haven’t gotten to ride it but my theory is that’s what fixed it. I still have a slight problem though, if the engine is coldish and I rev the engine, rather than increasing rpm it bogs down and sometimes dies. Is this normal? When the bike warms up this isn’t an issue.
