Looking to buy new starter bike

Hi, I'm interested in this xs400k. I'm wondering if 1500 is asking too much or not. Assuming it is in good running condition, what do you guys think is a good asking price for this bike? Tach reads

Even if it doesn’t run great I would say go for it, it looks really well taken care of and very clean
