More power??

Hi I have a 1982 xs400 maxim dohc, all original and was wondering what the more experienced people suggest for adding some power at a reasonable cost. Thanks for any help

There’s no power adding parts for these bikes. I would only suggest making sure the bike is turned the best you can or if you have access to a dyno have it tuned that way. Losing weight from the bike and your self will make it quicker. Sprocket changes can also make the bike perform better at different rpm’s.
