I have doubts whether the hole at the bottom of the muffler in the front is original? I'm asking because the previous owner drilled a few nonsense holes at the end of the muffler and I don't know if the ones at the front and bottom are original or if he drilled them. I want to weld them up so that the motorcycle is quiet and everything is original.

The head pipe should have a small weep hole in it to let moisture out between the double wall pipe. The end of the mufflers should only have the one in the center. I don’t know why people do this stuff as it only ruins the bikes over all performance.

Your head pipe and muffler area should look like this. Looks like someone drilled out the smaller weep hole in the muffler part.

Once again, thank you very much Xschris for the specific information. I also don't understand people like that who do something like that on the original bike. The ex-owner translation was that he did it to make the exhaust louder. Totally nonsense.
Now i try to weld these holes.
