Hello,
i am from Germany und my name is Bernd.
I have read in the German forum that there is this forum and therefore I registered here too.

Currently i own a SR500 and a XS400 CUP and my son also has a XS400.
I love these old Yamaha... :bike:

Thanks for welcome !

The only differences cupracer vs. series are fairings, rearsets, handlebar and plastic frontfender.
The street version requires indicators, lamps, mirrors and a plastic rear fender.

Additional i have fitted Wilbers forksprings, Konis, Tarozzi stabilizer, tapered roller bearings at the fork and bronze bushings at the swingarm.

And currently I am building a 432ccm engine... :D

Because Yoshimura pistons are not available i use XJR1300 connecting rods and Kawasaki GPZ900R pistons.
The pistons are not plug&play, so i have to customize the pistons and the cylinderhead. Not easy but possible. That´s currently the job.
