New speedometer Questions

I have a 1982 Seca 400. Where can I find the speedometer ratio, and are speedometer cables universal? Will the new speedo just plug in?? Thanks for the help. Love this sight inspired me to buy a xs and go to work. First project bike. I am stoked

ksqrly, i am confused on this subject also. would be nice to know which speedo ratio is the right one!

Well reegs I got the 2:1 ratio speedo and it is about 15% on the high side. The difference would be less for you because of your larger 19" front wheel, but Im guessing it still wouldnt be dead on.

i think he said 1:5....ill let you know. wont be for a bit as i live in canada/shipping etc
