I've been riding around enjoying the bike but the other day I was reading on the forum that the oil indicator light should come on when you turn the key/start it. My light has never come on. It seems to be running pretty good so assume that the oil is flowing but is there an easy way to be sure? Are our oil pumps pretty sturdy or should I really get this light working before I ride any more? Is there a way to test if the light is burnt out or if the pressure indicator itself is faulty? And if anyone has a picture of where I can find the indicator that would be super helpful. Thanks again everyone.

The wire and switch is under the front sprocket cover. I would pull the light bulb out and see if that is blown first. The switch works under pressure. If the motor is not running the light should turn on. If the light is good and the wire is connected well sometimes the switch can get stuck. A gentle tap on it can free it up.
