replacement spokes

anybody know where to buy replacement spokes for a xs 400
I've got the drum front/rear hubs...18/16" respectively..I looked at MikesXS..but not sure what I'm specifically looking for.
I want to strip my rims down and get them powder coated...and the old spokes are crusty.

Buchanan's can do them but they'll cost you about $100 per wheel for the spokes.

MikesXS has spokes for the 18" and 16" drum brake rear for earlier 650's. No idea if they use the same drum hub as the 400's. I'm in the same boat as you wanting to respoke my rims but don't feel like dropping $100 per wheel on custom spokes from Buchanans. Anybody have a source for spoke replacements?

I use a wheel specialist in the uk, but, there is a seller on ebay from the east who has them cheapcheap! I got some of those for my tracker project.

Thanks Drewpy. Looks like he's out of Thailand. How did you find the quality of the spokes? It's not exactly an area of the bike you want to throw cheap quality parts on.

good quality, my wheel builder made no comment and he's seen more spokes than we have hot dinners!
