Hi, I have a 1982 xs400 maxim dohc. I noticed the switch dangling under the bike yesterday. i suppose the screws vibrated out, does anyone know what size screws/bolts I need to mount it back in place?
Err, M5 is Metric 5mm nominal diameter. There should also be a thread pitch like 0.8 which represents 0.8mm between threads. So the correct sizing would read M5x0.8
There are other details that can also be included like fastener strength, length, shoulder length, etc. but that is getting too involved...
