Hi,
I'm in the process to fix/restore (as much as possible) my Maxim.
It needs a new seat, but those that I found on e-bay are not what I want (they are ugly) and the local upholstery wants to rip me off.
I'm pretty good with tools and I have a sewing machine and material at home to make a new seat, but I don't have a template to use.
Is there anyone here that have a template or maybe have tried to make one before and can give me some advice on what or what not do to?

Thanks in advance.

I made my own custom seat using the stock seat pan. Was planning on posting how i did it, the materials I used and the tools required tomorrow. If you follow my posts maybe it can be of help

started with a frame hoop removed tabs and brackets that were not needed and gave a better line here is where it is now the pad and cover will be added this weekend then this winter I will pull it all off to make a fiberglass pan
