I was doing some cleaning up before sending my tank to paint and apparently ground of a little to much on one weld on the tank. (I know - I shouldn't have been grinding there at all - but what's done is done.) :banghead:
Now I've got a leak ther. About one drip every 6-7 seconds.

My question is, would soldering this be a good fix? Will it last? Or should I put a "touch" of weld there instead? Or should I do something completely different?

Thanks, Stabler.

try brazing instead, need to clean tank out first obviously :)

I think soldering with vibrate off eventually, ruining the paint work.

Ok. Don't have the equipment to do just that though. Any other ideas?
(Ya, I know about the gas fumes and the kaboom risk etc. Lol.)

Nope, I'm not a welder. I just got acces to welding equipment. BUT I'm going to weld it anyway. My final out..
