Standalone Rectifier?

My rectifier on my 1977 doesn't check out, and just want to replacement. No combo RR or rewiring as my Voltage regulator is good. I would imagine this https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B09151NK7L?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image

Would fit the bill (3 wires for each diode, 2 wires for + and - )?

Hmmm...that one looks like a pure chinesium quality part...and now you need to cobble it in wiring wise as the factory rectifier plug is female terminals. This one has male blades and the harness on the bike will also be male blades, though I suppose you could make up some female jumper wires to properly connect/convert it to the xs400. Personally, I'd buy a used OEM one off ebay for about $25 as I think it's pretty rare for the rectifiers to go bad. 1978 YAMAHA XS400 (YSRB11) VOLTAGE RECTIFIER 1L9-81970-60-00 DE3804 | eBay is one cheap example, there are some slightly more expensive ones that promise to be low mileage parts.

Just to update, I was wrong, the rectifier was good, just needed to figure out the stator wiring. Don't throw out your rectifiers!
