stock mufflers?

So no OEM mufflers online that i can find, but what about aftermarket knock offs anyone got a good link? I ordered a set and they came with a kink at the front end... and i sent them back but the place sent me the same ones right back again.. they said they only come that way.. i haven't tried installing them cause if they dont fit id like to return them.. the manufacturer assures me they will fit but when held up next to the bike they look like they're gonna sit high and run right through my passenger pegs..

anyone got any advice for a newbie?

MikesXS.com has OEM and a bunch of aftermarket ones. Where did you get the ones that were kinked from?

I think they sell em at speed and sports inc (http://216.168.60.165/speedandsportinc/index.tpl) but they can cost a pretty penny. Otherwise you can always go for the mac 2-2 mufflers (http://www.amazon.com/MAC-2-INTO-2-REPLACEMENT-MUFFLERS-MEGAPHONES/dp/B0079J8RKK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1359332823&sr=8-2&keywords=xs400+exhaust) not exactly sure of their fitment but I am sure someone else will chime in.

I have an exhaust from a 360 that I am not using. I'm not sure if they are the same as the 400. I am across the river from you. Let me know if you want pictures or need measurements.
