good afternoon I'm from Colombia and I have an xs 400 special of 1980 according to the page http://xs400.net is the XS 400G 3F8
in conclusion I have problems with the tci I think buying it for ebay but I'm not sure if it's the model of my motorcycle because it appears 3f9 I do not know if it's the same

That will work with any factory setup sohc xs400 80-82.
