vacuum line to the petcock?

I was woundering if i could get some advice on a good line to use on the vacuum line from the petcock to the intake boot? I currently have a fuel line connecting the two, but it gets pretty hot / soft after a good long ride. What type, size line and where can i get one at? It is clear line now so I can see if any fluid is getting in it.

My Yamaha dealer didn't have any so I went to the closest Suzuki dealer and got 12" of the correct diameter in black. I specified vacuum line.
