What size fuel line do I need...bike didnt come with any

    Im ordering parts for my 78 xs400e as I get from stage to stage and I need to order fuel line. Im buying it online because Im ordering clear line but I dont know what size I need to order. Someone please help me since Im not gonna be around my bike for 7 days to measure.

    1/4" line. Add a fuel filter while you're at it. Also, don't forget clamps.

    i ran my 79 once without an inline filter and plugg up the left carb real bad.barely got her home limping on one cylinder.not fun

    Funny, I was just searching for the fuel line size as i figured I'd add a filter. well, the bike i got didn't have much run time, but rather much sit time, and the guy told me the left carb is all plugged so was running on 1 cylinder. I wonder if thats why it happened that way...
