XS 250 wiring - HELP!

Hey guys I have an 81 XS 250s and I can't get any power to it, no lights no ignition no sparks no anything, does anyone have or have a link to a wiring diagram for these bikes?

My plans with wiring are to just run bare minimum
- kick start only
- horn
- headlight, taillight, indicators
- on/off kill switch to hide under my seat
- smallest possible battery

I am horrible with wiring so ANY HELP whatsoever would be much appreciated,

Ryanh, try this thread here for some stock and modified XS400 diagrams.

I have a XS250 diagram at work I think that I sorted for another member on here. I will send you a PM with it tommorrow when I'm at work.

Also try this site for some nice simple wiring diagrams if you want to start from new.

Not many people here in aus seem to build these so I'll be on here trying to get as much info as possible!

Still undecided as to weather I'll build a cafe, or bobber style bike but I'll post a build once I get into it,

Just need to get this bike to run first, I'm sure these diagrams will help alot!
