xs 360/400 how camshaft swap

Hello guys, I just bought xs 360 77 1U4, running well, but, I have also xs 400 4G5 82, with hot camshaft, 38HP, my question is, can i just swap camshaft from 4G5 to 1U4 and also adjust carbs, or also switch camshaft with carbs from xs400?

Iam just curious if it's possible, engines looks same, but carbs not.

Should be able to swap the cam right over. The xs360 has a higher compression motor ( 9.6:1 where the xs400 has 9.3:1) I am not sure if they get that from piston or head differences. With the xs400 higher lift cam I would make sure the valve don't hit the top of the piston. The xs360 carbs are a richer non-emission setup so I would stay with them till after you do the cam swap.
